Our
Statement of Conscience
We
All are equal before the law and are entitled
without any discrimination to equal protection
under the law. All are entitled to
equal protection against any discrimination
in violation of the Declaration of Human Rights
and against any incitement to such discrimination.
We
All have the right to freedom of thought, conscience
and religion; this right includes manifesting
our religion or belief in teaching, practice,
worship and observance.
We
have the
right to freedom of association. No
one may be compelled to belong to an association.
We
have the right of equal access to public service
in the country we live in.
We
have the right to education. Technical and professional
education shall be made generally available
and higher education shall be equally
accessible to all on the basis of merit.
We,
as a members of society, have the right to social
security and is entitled to realization, through
national effort and international co-operation
and in accordance with the organization and
resources of each State, of the
economic, social and cultural rights indispensable
for our dignity and the free development of
our personality.
No
government has the right to deprive us from
public education, public services or employment
in government institutions. We should not be
punished for our choice of religion practice.
Nothing in the UN Human Rights Declaration may
be interpreted as implying for any State, group
or person any right to engage in any activity
or to perform any act aimed
at the destruction of any of our rights and
freedoms set forth by the United Nations Human
Rights Declaration.
As
a common standard of achievement for all peoples
and all nations, keeping the United Nation Human
Rights Declarations constantly in mind, shall
strive by teaching and education to promote
respect for these rights and freedoms and by
progressive measures, national and international,
to secure their universal and effective recognition
and observance
We
are calling on all people
of conscience, freedom of choice supporters,
religious freedom, civil liberties and human
rights groups around the world to support our
religious, cultural, civil , and human right
to wear head cover in public schools and public
institutions.
We
urge the United Nation to step in and take an
action against any government that passes a
ban against veiled women or head covered men.
