IT IS SERIOUS AND TIME SENSITIVE.

We are urging the concerned interfaith, inter-community, civil liberties, religious freedom, and human rights groups, individual, and communities; Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Sikh, and others to support this petition.

Whether you believe in head coverings or not, but yet you believe in freedom and human rights please support this petition

We are calling on all people of conscience and justice to support their human fellows to be accepted and respected by signing and mobilizing the petition

Here is how you can help the mobilization effort in your area:

1- Circulate the petition nationally and internationally to friends, relatives, and supporters from all levels and backgrounds everywhere around the world

2- If you are a member of a group, list or an organization, please convey the petition to them and ask if they can support, sponsor or help in any way. Please Request to post the petition on organizations' mailing lists. Whatever e-mail you may send out in support of this campaign, please send us a copy (cc: freedom@freedomtocover.com or cc: wah@wahonline.org)

3- If you are a member of a mosque, church, temple, etc., please gently ask them if they can announce the petition in their sermons, sponsor the petition or help in collecting signatures. We will add their organization name on the sponsors list online. Since this petition is mobilized globally, they will be getting global exposure as well, if they are on the sponsors list. The sponsorship requested is moral not financial

4- Our goal is to obtain at least 100 signatures from everyone on this list, but whatever you could get will be greatly appreciated. You can either collect the signatures alone or you can have 5 friends helping you to collect them; 20 signatures each. You can collect signature online if you post the petition to the groups you are part of locally or globally, or you can collect signatures on a hard copy. We will provide you with the document/file you need, just print them and keep them with you around to collect signature of those who cannot sign online especially when you attend prayers/sermons, social gatherings or events.

5- When you send emails to individuals or organizations regarding this petition, please include this message along with the online petition document.

6- For any new ideas of how to mobilize the campaign, please contact us before you implement your ideas. Let us synchronize our efforts and avoid potential hurdles. We commit ourselves to the highest standards of credibility, moderation, lawfulness and professionalism
